Hospitality Work Shop

THE LEGAL STUFF
and
THE GOOD COMMON SENSE STUFF

It is important that you know this :-
hospitality-work-shop.co.uk. has been devised in good faith and put on the WWW by your colleagues in the industry who are interested in promoting business contacts and communication in the Welsh Hospitality and Catering industries.

We want to provide a service that the industry will find useful - relaying information to you

Basically it is one big NOTICE BOARD and MARKET PLACE - nothing more - nothing less .

If you make entries in any of the listings, please delete them when they are no longer useful ( eg when the vacancy has been filled or the item sold ).

We cannot know everything about the people who use it, or the products they are offering - so we have to issue this warning - 'Letter and Spirit'.

We will take all reasonable care about the origins and authenticity of advertisements and other information - BUT  NO RESPONSIBILITY - for the what is offered to you in terms of products (new or used), services and information. Nor will we be responsible for any actions that you may take or not take as a result of anything you read, or interpretations you may make from reading these hospitality-work-shop.co.uk Web pages. We accept no responsibility for errors in text or information.

Anyone wishing to use these pages must register with us - it's quick and simple - but acts as a sign of good faith and gives us a point of contact - and you only have to register once.  Many areas of this website are available to be used without registration.

When a business registers with us we will take reasonable steps to check that it is what it says it is and that the 'contact' is genuine - but we cannot be held responsible for anything that results from you responding in any way - now or in the future - to information gleaned from these pages.

WE WILL REMOVE WITHOUT NOTICE ANYTHING THAT WE  EVEN THINK IS IN ANY WAY 'DODGY' - AND OUR UNDERSTANDING OF THAT WORD IS ABOUT THE SAME AS YOURS  i.e. -IT MUST BE LEGAL, HONEST, GENUINE, ETHICAL, MORAL, WHOLESOME, ACCURATE, FAIR, USEFUL AND SUBMITTED IN GOOD FAITH  ( Sorry no discussions - OK)

If you intend to make purchases, you must satisfy yourself as to the quality of the product or service, is it fit for purpose, does the person selling have the right to sell it, and is it value for money. If something goes wrong after the business is transacted you must deal with the person who supplied the goods or service.

You may probably already know and trust many of the named companies that will appear here - but if not you must assure yourself that the organisation is genuine

If you are going to see someone privately about property or equipment, or jobs - or anything else that results from reading this website - DON'T meet in private places. Meet in a pub, restaurant or other public place until you are entirely satisfied about things - take a friend or two.

When using the web - don't give out personal information - phone numbers - full names - addresses. Stick with the Email until you are completely satisfied.

If you are submitting your CV for potential employers to see - please remember that on this website YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS DO NOT APPEAR TO THE VIEWER - only your employment history, qualification details and email address.  If a prospective employer is interested in what they see then they can email you for further information and you can decide whether you are interested in taking the matter further. YOU ARE IN CONTROL.

Don't give out financial details over this website.

On the other hand if you are selling - you must make sure that the method by which your customer pays you is safe.

We have to say all of this because we know as you do that there are thousands of genuine people out there - but there are also some comedians. So be alert. Use the information you see here - but carry out your own checks as you would with any business deal. Apply the usual doses of common sense.
